OFSAA Track & Field

OFSAA Track and Field wrapped up yesterday in Ottawa. Congratulations to the ROPSSAA athletes who won 18 medals: 4 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze. (Please note that since the regions aren't listed after the school names and some names are very common, especially the myriad of Saint [ ] schools, I might have missed an athlete. Please e-mail me or leave a comment if I have missed someone.)

Special mention must be made of ROPSSAA's multiple medal winners: Phillip Hayle (Campion) who won 2 golds and a silver; Nick Chiarot (Notre Dame) who won 2 gold medals; and Kayla McFarlane (Father Goetz) who won a silver and a gold.

I would also like to thank the OFSAA Track Organisers in Ottawa and the Ottawa Lions Track club for compiling the results so quickly and effectively. A lot of OFSAA organising committees could learn from you.
