Day 1 OFSAA Soccer and Girls Rugby

Here are the scores of ROPSSAA teams from day one of OFSAA action in boys & girls soccer as well as girls rugby:

Boys A Soccer in Barrie
No scores provided hours after the last game was played today. Hopefully the organisers are quicker to post results tomorrow.

Boys AA Soccer in Timmins
#2 St. Paul is 1-1 after losing to St. Christopher (Sarnia) 1-0 and defeating Timiskaming (New Liskeard) 8-0.
Unranked St. Marcellinus is also 1-1 after losing to East Elgin (Alymer) 2-1 and defeating Archbishop Romero (Toronto) 4-1.

Boys AAA Soccer in Windsor
#1 Campion is 1-0-1 after tying Regiopolis Notre Dame (Kingston) 1-1 and defeating Lockerby (Sudbury) 6-1.

Boys AAAA Soccer in Toronto
#1 Notre Dame is 1-1 after losing to Birchmount Park (Scarborough) 2-0 and defeating Qquinas (London) 7-2.

Girls A Soccer in Windsor
#10 Joan of Arc is 1-0 after defeating Kapuskasing 3-0.

Girls AA Soccer in Wallaceburg
#4 Ascension is 1-1 after defeating St. Joseph's (Cornwall) 8-0 and losing to Holy Cross (Peterborough) 6-0.

Girls AAA Soccer in Chatham
#8 Iona is 2-0 after defeating Newmarket 4-0 and McLaughlin (Oshawa) 3-0.

Girls AAAA Soccer in Woodbridge
#8 Mount Carmel is 1-0-1 after drawing with St. Mary (Pickering) 2-2 and defeating East York (Toronto) 5-0.

Girls AAAA/AAA Rugby in Toronto
#6 Applewood advanced to the quarter-finals after winning their first round match over Brother Andre (markham) 24-0. They will play #3 Lakeshore Catholic (Port Colborne) in the quarter-finals.

Girls AA/A Rugby hosted by Mentor College in Oakville
#7 Mentor College finished second in their pool after losing to #1 Bayside (Belleville) 26-0 and defeating unranked Immaculata (Ottawa) 12-7. The will play Sacred Heart (Walkerton) in the quarter-finals.
